The 2025 Maryland Folk Festival, returning to downtown Salisbury in September, has received a big funding boost for its Maryland Folklife Stage. The City of Salisbury has been awarded a $50,000.00 Non-Capital Grant from the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority to support the development of the Maryland Folklife Stage and Area at the 2025 Maryland Folk Festival. This year’s Folklife theme, “Maryland: America in Miniature,” will create "a high-quality, interactive heritage tourism experience that highlights both the cultural traditions of Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore and the diverse heritage of communities across the entire state," according to a release from the festival.
