In The News: "Heritage Area announces MD250 Art and Photo Competition" [Passages of the Western Potomac Heritage Area]

The Passages of the Western Potomac Heritage Area (PWPHA), managed by the Canal Place Preservation and Development Authority, has announced the 2026 Youth Art and Community Photo Competition, a creative celebration marking the Nation’s 250th anniversary and the Maryland 250 celebration. The competition invites young artists and community photographers to explore themes of Allegany County history and heritage through art and photography.
