Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County has launched the Be Revolutionary: America 250 Exploration Trail, a new countywide experience marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The trail includes more than 50 historic, cultural, and community sites across Anne Arundel County, with each location sharing its own “revolutionary” story through interpretive displays. Participating sites range from museums and archives to farms, breweries, libraries, and waterfront landmarks. The trail is powered by a free Bandwango mobile pass that does not require an app download. The trail launched March 19, 2026, and runs through December 31, 2026, with an additional 30 days to redeem prizes. The project received support from the Maryland 250 Commission, the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority, and the Annapolis 250 Commission.
